About Max Energic
Max Energic is a small independent software studio. On Google Play we publish as BA'RA – Max Energic Apps.
We make two kinds of software. One is phone apps for everyday problems: a call blocker that understands Arabic scam texts, a VPN whose kill switch holds when the network changes, a period tracker without an account. The other is industrial tools. ModbusBB and Max IEC Gateway are for engineers who commission meters, drives and SCADA links.
Right now we look after seven Android apps and games and two Windows products. SmartBlock is the biggest, with over 100,000 installs on Google Play.
What we care about
Doing the work on the device
If something can run on your phone without a server, it does. When an app does need a server, its page says exactly what is stored there.
Plain answers
Every app page lists the price, whether it shows ads, whether it needs the internet, and what data it handles, so you know before you install.
Keeping apps alive
We would rather rebuild an app than abandon it. Stack Tower was rewritten from scratch in 2026, and SmartBlock is on its sixteenth major version.
